Analyst

Title: Analyst

Location: London, UK

Reporting To: Asset Manager

Key Responsibilities:

The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with lenders/investors, advising on and managing the turnaround of underperforming real estate.  He or she should support the Senior Analysts/Associates and the management of Resolute by providing timely and accurate reporting and other real estate related information for internal and client use.

In particular, the selected candidate will focus on the following key areas:

  • Networking and Communication - building and maintaining relationships with clients and collaborating with 3rd parties (real estate brokers, accountants, solicitors, property managers, contractors)

  • Analysis – deal underwriting, budgeting, market studies and cash flow analysis related to tenant and asset level performance. The analyst’s assessment of tenant level transactions will be integral to the leasing/re-leasing decisions of Senior Analysts/Associates, while asset level analysis will drive necessary changes and improvements to operational or structural issues to meet performance objectives

  • Reporting - preparing and delivering presentations to clients, tracking the performance of his/her assets under management and delivering monthly/quarterly reporting to clients and to senior management

Experience/Skill/Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or engineering discipline with a strong record of academic achievement
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience, preferably within a real estate finance environment
  • Good understanding of financial statements
  • Strong communication, analytical and data organisation/interpretation skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong team working skills and ability to work and adapt to different European regions and culture. Flexibility to travel within Europe
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; additional one or two European languages is preferred
