Resolute provides strategic advice and implementation support to Banks on the management of complex and/ or distressed real estate and real estate secured loans. Our strategic advisory solutions include the creation of (i) organisational level real estate and real estate NPL management platforms (governance models, organisational structure, policies and procedures frameworks to execute and achieve strategic NPL and real estate targets) and (ii) frameworks which deliver practical solutions to shorten recovery times whilst optimising recovery proceeds, considering relevant regulatory, accounting and capital constraints. We deliver these solutions through a combination of proprietary analytical and segmentation frameworks, specialised technology solutions, local market knowledge and deep real estate and real estate NPL experience.

Asset Management

Resolute provides to our banking clients ongoing asset management by specialising in the design and implementation of intensive value creation plans for portfolio or individual large commercial asset. Our main area of expertise is managing commercial assets that might be underperforming but that have high added value and recovery potential, including our innovative equity warehousing offering, valuable to clients seeking a solution to obstructive or inactive borrowers. We manage each asset as if it were our own, taking full responsibility for all aspects of value creation and delivering results for our clients. Our approach is centred around (i) initial assessment of the asset/ portfolio, (ii) business plan development and implementation, (iii) exit strategy and monetisation, and, if required ownership transfer through equity warehousing.

Technology Solutions

We recognise that our bank clients need solutions to help them store, map and manage the large volumes of loan and asset data critical for their core business, hence, our technology solutions are designed to cover all aspects from complex loan workouts through real estate repossession, management and monetisation.

 

Our Real Estate Analytics & Management System is designed for the management of large granular repossessed asset portfolios and/or individual assets. Features can be fully customised to client’s needs, with the ability to bring together a range of granular data on an asset by asset basis. Financial institution clients benefit also from our Loan Analytics & Management System designed to map the complete NPL lifecycle from the on-boarding of a loan until its resolution. Our technology tools are integrated with advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning programmes, which give us the competitive edge of being relevant in our markets of operation.

REO Management

Resolute develops and implements liquidity creation strategies for individual repossessed real estate assets or granular REO (Real Estate Owned) portfolios. Our expertise covers illiquid assets and markets across the real estate sectors, from granular portfolios through to more concentrated holdings. We provide an end-to-end service offering, on either an insourced or outsourced basis.

 

We assist clients by implementing a rigorous process from asset preparation through to pricing, sales channel management and closing. Resolute’s approach is anchored in the local real-estate expertise in our markets, from physical reviews of assets through to establishing comparable market data. Rigorous discipline and deep local market knowledge are the key to the effectiveness of Resolute’s real estate management and monetisation results.

Servicing & Underwriting

Resolute provides special servicing of real estate secured loan portfolios. We assist bank clients from the initial phase of portfolio selection through to the execution of asset and loan recovery strategies. Resolute approaches special servicing with a “bottom up” loan and collateral analysis to produce detailed business plans. Resolute’s RE NPL life-cycle management promotes the movement of NPLs towards resolution in a structured, time sensitive manner in a 5-step process: (i) portfolio transfer, (ii) strategy formulation, (iii) borrower engagement, (iv) execution, (v) resolution. Proprietary software, promoting efficiency through process automation, loan analytics and strategy prioritisation, supports our servicing operations.

 

Resolute provides a range of sell-side preparation and implementational support for Banks undertaking real estate secured NPL/ REO portfolio sales, from initial portfolio selection, detailed loan, collateral and data tape structuring through to interim servicing.  Our experience working with both the buy-side and sell-side ensures efficient transaction execution and an outcome that optimises pricing and de-risking for our clients.
