Jon Hodnett

For the past 15 years Jon Hodnett has been a senior executive at JER Partners, a U.S. based real estate private equity firm.

In the mid 1990’s he was based in the U.S. where he was responsible for portfolio acquisitions and work-outs of non-performing loans and distressed REO assets from U.S. government agencies and private financial institutions. In 1997 he moved to Asia where he was responsible for JER’s investment activities focused on distressed debt in Thailand, Japan and South Korea. He later moved to London to establish JER’s European platform. In 2006 JER formed a joint venture with the Alfa Group in Russia to co-sponsor the Marbleton Property Fund to invest in Russia and the CIS. He was responsible for capital raising and all investment activities and served on the Marbleton Investment Committee.

Jon received a B.A. in History from Colgate University in New York and an M.B.A. from Duke University (Fuqua School of Business) in Durham, North Carolina. He holds both U.S. and U.K. nationalities.
